Youth Entrepreneurs Leading Local Change

Through VORAF’s Economic Empowerment Program, women are gaining skills, resources, and confidence to build sustainable livelihoods.

Economic inclusion begins with opportunity. This quarter, our Vocational Skills and Microenterprise Initiative trained over 20 youth in tailoring, digital literacy, and carpentry.

The program doesn’t stop at training — it connects graduates to microfinance partners, helping them start or expand their own businesses.
One participant, Sarah, shared:

“VORAF believed in me when no one else did. Today, I run my own shop and employ two other women.”

Through stories like Sarah’s, we see our mission come to life — empowering people to move from surviving to thriving.
