A dynamic leader with a unique blend of expertise in Community Psychology and Public Health, she champions a powerful, holistic approach to social transformation. Her leadership is defined by a deep commitment to integrating mental well-being, health equity, and human rights into every facet of development. With over seven years of experience, she has dedicated her career to designing community-led solutions that empower marginalized populations, bridge critical service gaps, and address the root causes of injustice. Charity’s visionary approach ensures VORAF’s work is both locally grounded and strategically sharp, driving sustainable change and
uniting voices to build a more inclusive Africa.
A lawyer by training and an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with special interest in good governance, rule of law, human rights and access to justice. He holds a Bachelor’s of Law Degree from Uganda Christian University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from The Law Development Center where he was part of the Legal aid Clinic and holds a series of certificates in the area of Human Rights and access to justice. He has over five years experience in offering legal aid services to the marginalized people that include the indigent, persons persecuted for their political beliefs, women, key populations, refugees and juveniles . He is a member of the, Uganda Law Society, International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution of Uganda among other lawyers’ based networks thus effectively being a bridging factor in advocating for an affirmative justice system responsive to the inclusion of marginalized communities in access to justice policies.
A dedicated Legal and Program Officer with extensive experience in legal advocacy, program coordination, and capacity building within non-governmental and international frameworks. He possesses a strong expertise in human rights, youth empowerment, and governance. He completed advanced training in peacebuilding, security sector governance, and advocacy under the auspices of the UN and partner organizations. He is dedicated to contributing to
global initiatives that promote justice, equality, and sustainable development.
A passionate advocate for people-centered development, believing that sustainable progress is only possible when the teams driving it are empowered, supported, and valued. With a strong background in administration and organizational management, she is dedicated to fostering VORAF's culture of collaboration and innovation, ensuring our internal environment reflects the inclusive, equitable future we are building across Africa.
She leads resource mobilization and strategic partnerships to advance the organization's mission of empowering marginalized communities across Africa. With extensive experience in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation, she designs evidence-based programs that address critical social challenges including health equity, legal justice, mental health, and climate resilience. A passionate advocate and feminist, she brings proven expertise in grant management, organizational capacity building, and coordinating multi-stakeholder partnerships to drive impactful, sustainable change for vulnerable populations.
